Group classes for every level offered Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Classes are offered as a four week series. We teach a new dance style every six weeks.  The cost of the series is $35 per person. The Drop in or single class price is $10 per person. (If You Don't See What You're Looking For, Please check back.... More Classes Being Added Soon!)

Beginning East Coast Swing

This is a fun and easy dance!  ECS is danced with a big smile! It's great to dance to swing standards, old rock and roll, and even some contemporary songs with that syncopated swing rhythm.  Our beginning classes always start right from the first step, so if you have never danced before or if you just never got around to ECS, this class will get you dancing this super fun dance!

Beginning Cha Cha

Cha Cha is a sexy and playful latin dance that is done to medium tempo songs.  Our aim is to get you dancing the basic along with a few fun patterns out on the social dance floor.  This dance is very popular at ballroom and social events so you'll want to include it in your repertoire of dances for sure!

Intermediate Cha Cha

Once you've learned the basic steps and you're ready for some fancier footwork, come join us for intermediate Cha Cha. In this class we want to improve your lead and follow and get you doing some interesting moves and figures with fun turns and timing variations.  

Beyond Basics Cha Cha series

Whether you are a relative beginner, who has only recently gotten comfortable with some basic steps of Cha Cha, or a more seasoned dancer with dozens of great moves, “Beyond Basics” can help you take your dancing to the next level!  During this series our focus will be on technique, lead and follow skills and styling.  Limited enrollment so please call or email to check availability.

Beginning Waltz

The Waltz is a progressive and turning dance with figures designed for both a larger ballroom floor and the average dance floor. The use of sway, rise and fall highlight the smooth, lilting style of the Waltz. We will be starting right at the beginning with the basic Waltz box and progressing at an easy pace through out the series.

Beginning Waltz Level 2

Once you've gotten comfortable with the basic steps of Waltz and you want to add a few more turns and patterns to your arsenal, then this is the perfect class for you.  We will always work to refine foot work and technique as we teach fun and interesting moves that you can practice and use on the dance floor right away! 

Intermediate Waltz

Perfect for those who want to expand their Waltz repertoire and develop their technique. This class will pay closer attention to footwork and the rise & fall movement incorporated into the dance. We will introduce more advanced figures and work to develop the progressive form of the dance.  Due to the progressive movement of all of the dancers and because of limited floor space, enrollment in the intermediate Waltz class will be limited. West Coast Swing

West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in Lindy Hop. It is characterized by a distinctive elastic look that results from its basic extension-compression technique and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. WCS is the Official State Dance of California and with is frequently danced to many contemporary pop songs as well as some slower swing tunes. Our WCS class will have some great moves and will provide an opportunity for everyone to learn some cool, fun styling!

Beginning Nightclub 2-Step

Nightclub two step (NC2S, sometimes disco two step or California two step) is a Partner dance initially developed in the mid-1960s.  It is frequently danced to mid-tempo ballads in 4/4 time that have a characteristic quick-quick-slow beat. A classic example is the song Lady In Red. We will be starting right from the beginning with the basic step and then adding some fun and easy steps to give you everything you need to participate and enjoy this beautiful dance.

Intermediate Nightclub 2-Step

If you are already familiar with the basic step, and you have a few moves, our class will give you a new assortment of fun patterns and combinations with an emphasis on the style and beauty this dance is known for. This is a great dance in which to develop your skills because it can be danced to so many contemporary songs!

Salsa

If you took our Beyond Basics, Cha Cha series then this is the perfect continuation. The Latin movement techniques danced in Cha Cha can be applied to Salsa!  We will be starting with this movement as it works with the basic step and then moving into some super fun moves. Salsa will help your Cha Cha and Cha Cha benefits your Salsa! It is a popular form of social dance and is frequently danced in night clubs, bars, ballrooms, restaurants, and outside, especially if part of an outdoor festival. There are lots of opportunities to go Salsa dancing!

Beginning Foxtrot

The Foxtrot is a smooth, progressive dance characterized by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. It is danced to big band (usually vocal) music. In this series we will cover the basics, including progressive movement, technique and footwork.  We will also show you lots of fun turns, grapevines, and other useful figures!

Beginning Rumba

The rhumba dance that developed on the East Coast of the United States was based on the bolero-son. The first Rumba competition took place in the Savoy Ballroom in 1930. Nowadays, two different styles of ballroom Rumba coexist: American-style and International-style. We will be teaching the American style Rumba. This is a beautiful, slower romantic dance that uses, largely, the same technique as Cha Cha. In this beginning course we start right from the basic step and take you through all the turns and figures you'll need to enjoy this dance quickly on the social dance floor.
